Business Solutions Specialist

Job Purpose:

Support the development of Medical Services budgets for proposals and contracts by collaborating with internal teams and following established processes. Assist in analyzing study documentation and requests for proposals, preparing accurate cost estimates, and maintaining business tools to ensure consistency and compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management, and effective communication while applying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with Global Medical Services and operational teams to gather information for budget development.
  • Review study protocols and schedules of assessments to identify required services.
  • Prepare cost estimates using established tools and guidelines. Extensive training will be provided.
  • Maintain and update business tools and documentation under guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
  • Understanding of clinical research phases and ability to interpret schedules of assessments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet development.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work in a matrix environment and contribute to team goals.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in pharma or pharma services industry (e.g., CRA, proposals, finance, analytics or medical/safety-pharmacovigilance services).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
