AI Intern

At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization (CRO) committed to improving lives by bringing life-saving therapies to the market faster. We collaborate with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies to support their clinical development programs through innovative technology and scientific expertise.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented intern to join our team in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).This intern will learn about the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions during the AI period.This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience within the clinical research industry.

Duration and Location:

This is a full-time summer internship position, with a duration of 12 weeks, starting May 19th. The internship will be located in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities:

Assist in researching AI algorithms and models.
Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations on AI initiatives.
Support the testing and evaluation of AI-driven solutions.
Contribute to the documentation and presentation of project findings and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; graduating in December 2025 or May 2026
 Git/GitHub and Python or JavaScript experience required
Strong interest in artificial intelligence.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
