Enrollment Specialist

Key Accountabilities:

- Support Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and work processes to ensure the efficient and compliant clinical operation of the EPCU.
- Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner.
- Ensure and support with daily work completion of enrollment for assigned studies and manage process closely to minimize waste.
- Accept inbound calls – hotline consulting (give first information with relation to the single studies, give appointments, information to the published advertisements, advice).
- Outbound consulting: daily work on new applications for all healthy studies within the volunteer´s database.
- Outbound consulting: daily work on new applications for studies with special populations/ patient studies within the volunteer´s database.
- Preparation of statistical metrics for patient studies as required – i.e. evaluation of volunteer's attendance at special pre-screenings.
Insert new, valid volunteers into subject database.
- Allocate eligible volunteers to appropriate studies within subject database.
- Working closely together with study recruiter on specific projects – performing and evaluating of study specific questionnaires, management of screening appointments.
- Summon or cancel subjects for information sessions or screenings.
- Welcome and register volunteers and patients at information sessions on site.
- Statistical record keeping of volunteers and patients' attendance at information sessions - by using information session tracking list.
- Work on website questions/requests and transfer to the corresponding employee of volunteer’s care.
- Verify volunteers and patient contact data in case of postal returns – update subject database accordingly.

Knowledge and Experience:

- Previous experience in office administration/database administration/tele sales experience or customer service work experience or similar, CallCenter agent
- Preferable at least 1-year practical experience at Parexel Enrollment Department or CRO.


Education:

- School-leaving certificate of secondary modern school or A-level.
- Commercial, medical or scientific education.


Language Skills:

- German: fluent in spoken and written.
- English: good command.
