Are you a seasoned project manager or account manager with experience in medical communications—particularly in publications? We’re seeking a Senior Program Specialist to lead the execution of complex, multidisciplinary publication programs while driving excellence across cross-functional teams. This is a full-time, remote position that may require occasional travel.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Program Specialist, you will:
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define scope, staffing, and project plans.
- Lead kick-off meetings, track progress, and maintain proactive communication with clients and faculty.
- Monitor budgets, timelines, and deliverables, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Support proposal development and budgeting processes.
- Champion best practices in communication, process efficiency, and team collaboration.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in medical communications (Oncology).
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and database tools (e.g., Access).
- Familiarity with EACCME, ACCME, FDA, AMA, and publication guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Business or Life Sciences.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
