Principal Investigator Payment Analyst

We are currently hiring a Principal Investigator Payment Analyst to join our team! This person will be responsible for supporting the global Investigator Payment Organization, introducing and leading changes in internal business processes, ensuring standard processes are followed and properly documented, and serving as an expert resource.  This individual will identify and implement necessary changes to enable Parexel to perform to its optimum ability, efficiently handling complex datasets and automate manual repetitive tasks. Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.  

Key Accountabilities:

  • Serves as contact for IPO, Site Contract and Project Management staff to support payment inquiries related to process and/or system

  • Improve overall efficiency of the Investigator Payment function worldwide by review of new and existing processes, systems, make recommendations and implement the changes where necessary

  • Support technology changes and improvements, liaison between IT and IPO

  • Implement any changes with sensitivity and minimal disruption

  • Provide support to business operations staff for specific accounting and general finance matters

  • Implementation and maintenance of standard policies & procedures and on boarding training

  • Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring SOX compliance

  • Identify any risks regarding changes and develop a strategy to overcome or address risks if applicable

  • Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team

  • Create a system to evaluate the success of any adjustments made within the organization and present any findings

  • Ad-hoc duties to support the business

Skills:

  • Able to work independently and manage from a distance

  • Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advance excel skills required

  • Dataiku Designer experience desirable due to exposure of multiple systems and report creation for the Team

  • Veeva CTMS systems experience; Medidata experience preferred, but not required

  • ORACLE systems experience desirable but not essential

  • Excellent communication skills (English, both written and verbal) including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective presentation and documentation skills

  • Client and customer service focused approach to work

  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning

  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail

  • Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.

  • Willingness to travel
