Clinical Project Specialist (Technology)

This role will work within ourAI Labs’ department which is an innovative team that will build and deploy leading AI-driven solutions to improve workflows common across both Parexel and the life sciences industry.​​​​​​

As the ​Clinical Project Specialist (Technology), you will be responsible for supporting cross functional initiatives executed by the AI Labs Clinical Projects and Quality team including project management, software implementation, user support, software testing, and AI model evaluation.


This role will be based in the UKandcan be either office based in Uxbridge or fully home based in the UK. The offices for the above are all open planned, and you will be working in an innovative and collaborative environment with your international peers and colleagues. 


Key Accountabilities:

Project Management

  • Support project initiatives that may include proof of concept pilot projects and client project software implementation, including end to end management.

  • Display excellence in subject matter, professionalism, organization, and communication.

  • Foster partnerships across varied functional teams


Software Implementation and Support

  • Configure and implement projects in AI Labs developed products to meet client requirements.

  • Develop an understanding of user workflows in the products.

  • Coordinate with product and engineering to escalate issues and test new features to satisfy user requirements.

  • Provide excellent user support to facilitate adoption and use of the products, optimizing the user experience.


AI Integrated Software Testing and Validation

  • Support AI Labs product development and validation through software testing and AI model evaluation.

  • Collaborate with NLP engineering team to define and execute on generative AI model evaluation projects.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong project management skills, including planning and executing toward critical timelines, overall management of project requirements, and progress monitoring.

  • Ability to form strong partnerships across varying roles and functional organizations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Technology proficiency, including familiarity with software product roll outs and end user support.

  • Comfort level with learning new technologies and supporting product development efforts from a quality perspective.

  • Ability to work remotely and effectively collaborate with a distributed team.

  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.

  • Exhibits a sense of urgency for solving problems and completing work.

Education:

  • Educated to degree level in health care, technology, or sciences or equivalent technology focused project management experience.


Knowledge and Experience:

  • You will have a number of years' experience in technology focused project management ideally in the clinical industry,

  • You will require a number of years working in the life sciences or a related health care domain.

  • Experience in technology implementation preferred.

  • Experience in or a keen interest in learning about generative AI and contributing to development of AI-integrated software products.
