Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development within assigned accounts
- Identify and prioritize opportunities; develop strategic sales plans
- Lead proposal development in collaboration with internal teams
- Define competitive pricing and solutions aligned with client needs
- Build strong client relationships and support deal closure
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven track record in B2B sales and achieving targets
- Experience in life sciences, CRO, or related industry
- Project management experience, including client negotiations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of drug development and commercialization
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business data
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel (approximately 50%)
Requirements
- Experience in a CRO, life sciences company, or consulting (life sciences focus preferred)
- Multiple years previous experience in B2B sales role, preferably in a CRO, Life Sciences Company or Consulting background specializing in Life Sciences
- Experience in project management within the life sciences industry or a CRO, including experience in client negotiations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
Location
- Primarily Tokyo; Osaka may be considered depending on experience
