About the Role

We are seeking a Resourcing Analyst (Resource Planning Analyst, Workforce Planning Analyst) to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Resourcing Analyst, you will support the resourcing function within Parexel's Functional Service Provider organization, helping ensure the right talent is aligned to the right opportunities at the right time. This position plays a key role in resource planning, workforce analytics, operational support, and utilization management, enabling informed business decisions that support the successful delivery of clinical research programs.

You will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, operational leadership, Talent Acquisition teams, and resourcing leaders to support demand and supply planning, resource forecasting, utilization monitoring, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include developing resourcing projections, maintaining workforce data accuracy, supporting strategic forecasting activities, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen operational effectiveness. This role offers opportunities to deepen your expertise and influence workforce planning decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a macro level understanding of awarded work, potential new business opportunities, resource demand, resource supply, and upcoming resource challenges across assigned accounts.

  • Support resource related decision making within a matrix environment and contribute to strategic workforce planning activities.

  • Participate in strategic resource forecasting initiatives focused on resource size, utilization, and skill mix at the client level.  

  • Develop, prepare, and distribute resourcing projection reports and provide workforce planning insights to operational leadership.

  • Build understanding of stakeholder information needs and support enhancements to automated tracking and reporting solutions.

  • Participate in operational leadership meetings and support resource planning and allocation decisions.

  • Monitor resource demand and supply alignment across assigned accounts.

  • Partner with resourcing leadership to monitor utilization and forecast upcoming available capacity.

  • Manage position and requisition activities and maintain accurate workforce information within resource management tools.

  • Support the development of resource planning tools, databases, procedures, processes, and training materials.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable local regulatory requirements and Parexel standard operating procedures.

  • Support reassignment activities that reduce non billable bench time and partner with Talent Acquisition leaders to facilitate workforce planning and redeployment efforts.

Candidate Profile

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • Strengths in analytical thinking, problem solving, and stakeholder communication

  • Experience working in clinical research, the pharmaceutical industry, or another regulated environment.

  • The ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.

  • A process-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Comfort working with resource management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 1 to 6 years of experience in clinical research, pharmaceuticals, resource management, workforce planning, business operations, or a related field.

  • Competent written and oral English communication skills in addition to local language proficiency.

  • Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and navigate changing business priorities.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing successfully within a virtual team environment.

  • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and strong computer and internet skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience within a Contract Research Organization or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Experience supporting resource planning, utilization management, workforce analytics, or operational reporting activities.

  • Experience developing complex tools using business productivity software.

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively, manage ambiguity, and drive outcomes through collaboration.
