About the Role
Parexel is seeking a Site Contract and budget professional to join our Functional Service Provider team, dedicated to a single sponsor.
This role is responsible for executing the clinical site contracts and budgets process across clinical development programs, from contract initiation through completion, maintenance, and amendments. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will help ensure compliant, efficient, and timely contracting activities that support high-quality clinical research.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical clinical studies while developing expertise in site contracts, budgets, and outsourcing management within a collaborative and globally focused environment.
This is a fully remote home-based position.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and maintain Clinical Trial Agreements, site budgets, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, Consultant Agreements, and other applicable contracts.
- Execute the end-to-end site contracts process for assigned agreements, including maintenance activities and amendments.
- Track contract progress, coordinate follow-up activities, and support the timely execution of clinical site contracts.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to support contract execution and budget management.
- Ensure contracts comply with Fair Market Value principles, guidelines, and applicable standards.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze tools and systems to support contract lifecycle management and reporting.
- Provide accurate progress updates to Clinical Operations teams on outstanding contracts and budgets.
- Complete quality reviews of documents and records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to departmental processes and templates.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and maintenance of guidelines, policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Provide guidance on site contracts and budgets processes to team members and R&D stakeholders as appropriate.
- Support day-to-day clinical contracts and budget activities and coordinate meetings, agendas, and related administrative activities as needed.
- Submit purchase requisitions through SAP systems where required.
Candidate Profile

- Strong contract management, stakeholder collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience working within clinical research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or outsourcing environments.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A strong interest in supporting sponsor clinical trials through effective contracts and budget management.
- Comfort working with Excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, databases, Smartsheet, SAP systems, and related business tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in clinical site contracts and/or outsourcing management.
- Working knowledge of clinical trial functions, including clinical operations, regulatory, and drug safety.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn international clinical pharmaceutical standards, ICH/GCP guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, prioritization, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting global clinical studies and site contracting activities.
- Experience working with clinical trial budgets and contract lifecycle management processes.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, SAP, databases, and reporting tools used to support clinical contracts and budgets.
- Experience collaborating with Clinical Operations, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Finance, and R&D stakeholders.
