Senior RPA Automation Engineer

Skills:

  • Advanced UiPath Expertise: Deep hands-on experience (typically 4+ years) with core UiPath components, including Studio, Orchestrator (configuration, monitoring, asset management, queues), and Robots.

  • REFramework Mastery: Ability to design, develop, and deploy production-grade, scalable, and maintainable Attended/Unattended automations using the Robotic Enterprise  Framework (REFramework). 

  • API and System Integration: Experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP), relational databases (SQL), and enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, or ServiceNow to ensure seamless integration of RPA solutions. 

  • Process Analysis and Design: The ability to conduct detailed requirements analysis workshops with stakeholders, identify automation opportunities, and translate complex business needs into comprehensive technical solutions. 

  • Documentation: Expertise in creating high-quality documentation, including Process Design Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), test plans, and support runbooks. 

  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize bot performance.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partner with subject matter experts and automation analysts to define, document, and development automations supporting business processes.

  • Analyze process automation requirements and create technical specifications.

  • Create proof of concepts / prototypes for key automation tasks.

  • Develops bots and solutions using automation tools.

  • Implement security best practices to manage confidential information.

  • Define test scenarios, create test plans, execute test scripts.

  • Provide production support.

  • Leads automations through life cycle for completion (i.e. process feasibility assessment, preparation, documentation, development, testing & go live/production).

Required:

  • 6 + years Information Technology experience programming including scripting, coding, SQL and relational databases, and application development.

  • 4 + years software engineering experience with UiPath RPA software.

Desired:

  • Advanced certification on leading UiPath RPA software.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Power Apps, Mule.

  • Knowledge of cloud-based development. Microsoft Azure.

  • Knowledge of Web Services, XML, SOAP, REST.

  • Prior life sciences experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (Math’s, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience.
