Zone Medical Assistant

The Zone Medical Assistant role supports the Zone Medical Lead to co-ordinates the Zone brand relevant medical activities namely setting up & championing a Medical Strategic plan, supporting with administrative tasks related to HCP relevant engagements, supporting to set up differentiated & superiority claims assessments under the guidance of the Zone Medical Lead, and delivery of any key initiatives identified for other brands as would be relevant to VN.
The Zone Medical Assistant will:
• Support the Medical Affairs Lead for the overall brand and business goals.
• Support the brand approach for medical value creation across teams, ensuring clear priorities are defined at a local VN level to support the activation plans.
• Support the evidence generation/claims projects for the brands they are responsible for.
• Co-ordinate the medical events, HCP/consumer education activities locally in Vietnam for the key brands.
• Support in implementing value-added processes, best practices and tools to increase efficiency and contribute to the operational excellence of Medical Affairs.
• Foster an environment/culture of learning and sharing of best practice within the team.
Accountabilities:
The Zone Medical assistant will:
Support Medical Strategy Plan:
• Support the zone brand medical strategy for key VN brands.
• Support the brand medical value creation in VN, ensuring clear priorities are defined at a local level.
• Support for developing insights / anticipating trends, identified & executing on science inspired innovation opportunities (claim enhancement, product development, life cycle management, medical evaluation of BD opportunities, local switch opportunities), scientific endorsement & stakeholder management, risk mitigation under the supervision of the Zone Medical leads.
• Support with the co-ordination for innovative and inclusive medical events (ISPs, Ad boards, patient educations activities) across zone.
• Support in developing effective HCPs/HCOs engagements and interactions for medical-scientific activities through digital activity dashboard.
• Foster an environment/culture of learning and sharing of best practice within the team.
Innovation
• Provide support on scientific intelligence and support evaluation of new products for the allocated brands across zone.
• Support local collaboration for effective innovation plan as per business needs under the supervision of the Zone Medical Leads.
• Support product optimization strategies as per business goals.
Evidence Generation/ Claims
• Support the development of real-world data and analytics capabilities and utilization, and lead in applying advanced methodologies and tools to generate novel insights and actions.
• Support the processing of the clinical data of the medical projects and support in the elaboration and/or the evaluation of their publication.
• Support with execution of RWE studies; effectively communicate the findings and study results to internal stakeholders for VN market, under the supervision of the Zone Medical Leads.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Education
• Pharmacist, Medical Doctor, or equivalent with minimum 2 years’ experience
Required knowledge and/or experience
• Excellent understanding of the consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, drug development environment, and R&D processes and objectives
• Knowledge of the local Consumer Health environment (regulatory, regional Industry Associations, Public & Government affairs) would be an advantage
• Understanding consumer healthcare regulations and requirements, Health Authorities regulations and ability to evaluate impact of those regulations within the drug development environment and to lead discussions of the requirements and its impacts within submission teams.
• Demonstrated success in partnering and influencing across a matrix environment with exceptional executive communication skills.
Language skills
• Fluent spoken and written English and Vietnamese
