Procurement Quality Specialist

Parexel, a leading global Clinical Research Organization, is seeking a dedicated Procurement Quality Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our commitment to excellence in clinical research and quality management.

About the Role: The Procurement Quality Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Procurement Quality Management team, ensuring smooth execution of audits, and maintaining high standards in our procurement processes. This position involves generating reports, preparing documentation, collaborating with auditors, and serving as the primary contact for RFx processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Process Development and Improvement
•    Ensure compliance with Procurement standards, Parexel policies, client contracts, and GxP requirements
•    Produce action-oriented reports and support risk identification/mitigation
•    Identify process improvement opportunities and provide expert support to stakeholders

Quality Support
•    Present issues and concerns clearly and actionably, using metrics and data
•    Demonstrate urgency while maintaining excellence in stakeholder communications
•    Act as a trusted advisor in procurement processes and systems

Audit Support
•    Prepare documentation for Sponsor Audits, Regulatory Inspections, and

Internal Audits
•    Support the Procurement Quality Management team during audits
•    Coordinate with auditors and internal teams to facilitate audit processes

Reporting
•    Generate and distribute accurate, timely internal and client-facing reports
•    Collaboration with Auditors
•    Work closely with Quality Assurance Auditors on supplier audits
•    Provide necessary information and documentation
•    Review Supplier Audit reports and manage follow-ups

RFx Management
•    Serve as the main point of contact for procurement RFx processes
•    Coordinate creation, distribution, and evaluation of RFx documents

Ticketing System Administration
•    Manage procurement-related ticketing system
•    Ensure timely response and resolution of tickets

General Administrative Support
•    Perform various administrative tasks as assigned
•    Support day-to-day operations of the Procurement Quality Management team

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
•    Minimum 3 years of working experience in a large global corporation
•    Background in pharma, CRO, pharmacy, health-related discipline, or quality/vendor management preferred
•    Systems support experience in a global environment
•    Additional language advantageous 
•    Positive attitude with a solutions-oriented approach
•    Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English
•    Proficiency in Microsoft applications and ability to learn internal systems
•    Adaptability to work in a matrix environment and value teamwork
•    Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities
•    Diplomacy in addressing sensitive issues confidentially and professionally
•    Knowledge of relevant national/international regulations
•    Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, management, supply chain, or related field (graduate degree preferred)
