The Opportunity
Are you a supply chain professional with a passion for the biopharmaceutical industry? We're seeking a talentedSupply & Logistics Specialistto join our dynamic Clinical Trial Supply & Logistics (CTS&L) team.
In this role, you'll work alongside our Supply & Logistics Project Managers to develop and execute innovative supply chain strategies that keep clinical trials on track, on budget, and compliant with the highest regulatory standards. You'll be the operational backbone of our projects—managing complex logistics, coordinating with global partners, and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service every time.
What You'll Do
Project Management & Strategy
- Collaborate with Supply & Logistics Project Managers to develop tailored logistics concepts and solutions that exceed client expectations and drive project profitability
- Own study-specific supply chain strategy execution, including sourcing and distribution planning
- Maintain visibility of study scope and progress to ensure timelines, budgets, and contractual commitments are met
- Proactively identify, manage, and communicate risks and changes to stakeholders
- Establish and maintain study-specific management tools and documentation
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure appropriate FTE coverage and project requirements are met
Financial Stewardship
- Manage Pass-Through Costs (PTC) with rigorous controls and transparent reporting of internal service fees and external provider costs
Operational Excellence
- Develop comprehensive clinical supply, sourcing, and distribution strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
- Partner with third-party providers to negotiate scope of work and drive value
- Plan and manage inventory based on strategy, forecasts, and study requirements
- Create and maintain supply schedules, incorporating feedback from clinical teams and adjusting for study progress
- Communicate effectively with depot partners to ensure seamless supply chain execution
Who You Are
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, clinical research, or consulting industry
- Expertise in clinical logistics or related supply chain functions within the biopharmaceutical sector
- Strong understanding of cross-functional activities and how different departments interconnect
- Significant multinational work experience
- Deep knowledge of GxP regulatory frameworks and ICH GCP guidelines
- Fluent in English
Education
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or Master's degree in Biology, Pharmacy, International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or related health discipline
- Equivalent professional experience considered
- PharmD or similar advanced qualification valued
